Some of his favorite writers/artists are David Foster Wallace, Jonathan Franzen, Jennifer Egan, Thom Jones, Wallace Stegner, Maurice Sendak, Margaret Wise Brown, and Werner Herzog. Occasionally he puts his thoughts down on this blog. He lives in Arlington, Virginia with his family: a philosopher, two children, and Jasper, a handsome schnauzer/poodle mix and champion ball fetcher.
